Someone’s already driving to Satara. Send your parcel with them.
Frolic connects people making a trip with people who need a parcel carried along the same road. Travellers put the spare space in their vehicle to use. Senders get their parcel carried by someone already going that way.
Starting on routes across Maharashtra. The Android app is coming soon.
How a parcel gets there
-
A traveller posts a trip
Where they’re going, when they leave and how much room their vehicle has.
-
A sender finds a trip on their route
They describe the parcel and send a request. The traveller chooses whether to accept it.
-
The parcel is handed over
The traveller checks and photographs the parcel, then confirms pickup with a one-time code from the sender.
-
The receiver gets it
Delivery is confirmed with the receiver’s own code and a photo. Then sender and traveller rate each other.
Who’s carrying your parcel
-
Every traveller is verified
Before posting a trip, travellers verify their Aadhaar through DigiLocker, their driving licence and their vehicle’s registration.
-
Frolic never stores your Aadhaar number
A licensed verification provider does the checking. Frolic keeps only the result, your verified name and the last four digits.
-
Parcels are opened at pickup
The traveller sees what they’re carrying and can turn down anything on the prohibited items list.
-
Every handover is on record
Pickup and delivery are each confirmed with a one-time code and photos, so there’s a clear record if something goes wrong.
